Your days of discovering 20 open boxes of ¾" ball valves in the back of your stock room or writing a list on a scrap of cardboard at the jobsite will soon be over. You can rely on our expertise in distribution and focus your attention on running your business.
List It
Build and save a list of the things you purchase most with our online store’s My List tool. When you’re ready to order, a few clicks will add everything—or only the things you select—to your cart. Create and store as many lists as you want: a list of items for a boiler replacement, a list of items stocked on your truck, etc. You get the idea. Submit your My List order, and it will be sent to your Granite Group branch for fulfillment.
Label It
We’ll start by supplying bin labels for the products you stock. Labels will include only the information you want displayed, such as part number, short description, min/max levels and even bar codes if you’d like to scan replenishment orders directly into our online store using your smartphone. Lastly, we'll help you put everything in place once the labels are created.
Scan It
Swiftly order the things you need most with the ScanIt feature on our free My Granite Access mobile app. Just activate your account online, and you’re ready to roll. Using your smartphone, scan the barcode on a bin label provided by The Granite Group. You’ll automatically be taken to the product page in our online store where you check pricing, availability and add the item to your shopping cart.
Cross It
You’ve spent valuable time building your own unique product codes. Did you know that you can use The Granite Group’s CrossIt tool to tie your codes to our codes in our Online Store? Even better, you can save the cross references for ongoing use. Using your own codes, you’ll be able to search our Online Store to check product pricing and availability and even make purchases. What’s more, your codes will print on our pick tickets and invoices, making it fast and easy to reconcile orders in your system. We can help you get started by batch loading your codes into our Online Store.
Replace It
Leverage your in-house inventory systems and integrate with us electronically. Send us your purchase orders, daily usage or truck replenishment needs in an electronic report. We can convert your files to an order and ship the material to you. Put inventory replenishment on auto pilot with our ReplaceIt program, and never run out of the things you use most.
Automate It
With the AutomateIt program, formerly known as GAIM, we’ll remotely monitor and automatically replenish the on-hand inventory in your stockroom and on your trucks using the same technology we use to run our own distribution center. The min/max level for each product will be customized according to your specifications. Auto-generated reports inform us of your stock usage as you “issue” items out of inventory using our AutomateIt website portal or mobile app. When your min levels are registered, The Granite Group will bring you back up to max and invoice your account.
